Saturday December 12 the Paire U15/U18 Boys team played Kanoa FC U15 Boys team. Kudos the Kanoa team for playing very hard and giving Paire a real challenge. Paire won, but only by 1 goal.
Later in the day Paire faced off against Tan Holdings U18 Boys. Earlier in the season, this team beat Paire U18 Boys team 18 - 0. But in that game Paire only fielded 9 players (instead of a usual 11 players). This day Paire had 16 players on the bench, which meant we had a full team of 11 plus 5 subs. That made all the difference. Paire held Tan Holdings scoreless at the half. That really energized the team. Paire returned the second half and was just as focused as they were the first half. However, with about 10 minutes left in the last half, a rouge ball struck one of our players in the arm while he was in the penalty box, so THFC got to take a penalty shot. They scored, but that was the only goal they made the entire game. The final score was THFC 1 - PFC 0, but Paire left the field feeling great knowing that they did not make the win easy for THFC. That was the best game I've seen Paire play all season and it was a great way to end the season.
